As a trainer, strategist, and project manager, I help people and organizations get from where they are to where they want to go. I possess 14+ years of experience in the end-to-end process of developing training programs for operations, leadership and sales teams; delivering training and coaching, executing critical pilots, and leading cross-functional collaboration to develop strategies that drive results.
My background and experiences have given me a unique perspective on designing training that aligns with business objectives. Working with manufacturing/industrial, energy/utilities, tech, and healthcare sectors (among others), I developed a working understanding and deep appreciation for training to critical procedures. My background in information management systems has given me strong capabilities in analyzing and evaluating training results—not to mention a strong digital literacy that includes design tools like HTML and CSS that have served me well in developing multimedia instruction, as well as data management and reporting tools, like SQL, Microsoft Access, and Tableau, that have helped me effectively track and tell results-driven stories for various programs. My instructional design strengths are content development, project management (waterfall and Agile), and evaluation/analysis. Multimedia skills in my toolkit include: Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Audacity, and more. Select the button to view a few featured work samples.
In 2021, I had two goals: finish grad school and run my first marathon. The opportunity for this to be a metaphor certainly wasn't lost on me: For me, completing the Master of Instructional Science and Technology (MIST) program represents a significant milestone both personally and professionally. Of course, crossing this finish line doesn't overshadow the experience I had running every mile (after all, grad school is a marathon, not a sprint). Rather, crossing the finish line is an acknowledgment of the journey I've been on so far and a celebration of the lifelong pursuit of learning I have ahead.
